This is what Craissac explains: “I was surprised a long time ago that people’s expression did not correspond to their inner reality. They refuse to express their privacy.
It’s a host of sensations, repressed feelings that translate into a life of unease. People lie to themselves. Even when they have carried out this search for their inner life, they have a reflex of hindsight.”
